The elves are missing opportunities to better themselves. Can you imagine how great their world would be if talent counseling was there along with mental and emotional therapy? It would help them with their grief and learning how to cope. They could literally open up more careers about it. Elves could learn the patterns they go through mentally and emotionally and I think there should be different therapists too. Telepath therapists, empath ones and etc depending on the person.

Not to mention if they had proper talent counseling they wouldn’t have to be nervous about someone being born a pyro. And it would help for those who are born without an ability so they don’t assume their entire life is over because they didn’t manifest.

I can appreciate angsty fics and things that talk about all the character flaws of the marauders and valkyries and everyone else, and all the canon things.

But honestly, I don't enjoy it.

I can know that it's interesting, and still hate it.

Like yeah, I guess canon is cool, but it's really not for me. This fandom is my escape from reality, my way to forget who I am, what's happening in the world, what is going on around me, all my problems, I don't want to be burdened even more while enjoying it.

it's my place to be free and happy and not have to think. I'm always thinking. I'm always working. I'm always doing something. So my time focusing on this, on these characters, this fandom, I don't want to spent it thinking "realistically" or with a bunch of angst

I already have enough of that, thank you very much

For me, I don't need to be analyzing characters, sobbing over storylines, or thinking about the flaws of a situation when I'm here. It's supposed to be fun!! It's supposed to be a fantasy world where we can mold and shape these characters based on the little information we have of them.

This is a fun light place where I can just play with these characters and we build off of each others ideas, why do we feel the need to make ourselves miserable?

I think it's also that a lot of the angst and sadness that we create in this fandom, is similar to what I deal with at home (the black brothers, having to choose one person, having to watch someone get the love you want, basically all the angst pertaining to sirius, reg, James, and lily, literally any one of them).

So when I hole up in my room, im doing it to forget, not to be reminded of reality.

saw a post praising azula for conquering ba sing se when her initial orders were to capture iroh and zuko and at no point did ozai tell her to do that, but she accomplished it anyways…

like, we get this isn’t a #girlboss moment, right? azula successfully taking political control of and conquering a city isn’t feminist, it’s an act of imperialism, and it’s horrific. sure, she’s competent, but the things she’s being competent at are immoral and wrong, so.

it’s also a little funny that some of the same stans who praise her for this also try to justify her actions as a villain by claiming she’s just following ozai’s orders. which is it, then? is she a badass feminist icon because she successfully committed an act of imperalism without anyone telling her to, or is she someone who can’t be blamed for anything ever because she was “just following orders”?

I know people in the fandom have talked to death about this topic, but there really is something so poetic and cathartic about InuYasha being so obsessed with getting the shikon jewel for himself to become a full-fledged demon in the beginning of the story, to not giving a crap about it at all and even going as far as to fight the jewel itself in order protect the people he loves. Especially Kagome. And in the end, he got everything he ever wanted and needed because of that change. Everything he thought he could get by gaining more power and becoming full demon.

I know it sounds cliche as hell, but it's true. Just think how much better the world would be in real life if people led with their hearts instead of their need for power.

yk what? Since I love the idea of going into the welcome home dimension reader things.

Why not the welcome home crew gets transported into our dimension? But the twist is, they’re tiny like they’re figures. And! I made this because I was like thinking about a transformers fic of where the transformers continuity figures come to life in our world.

But this is different! They’re puppet size babies and they don’t feel like puppets but they feel like they’re originally from their own world. Plus a height reference compared to me (I’m small sobs)

I haven’t made the others so instead I got their height marked down. (Ahahah short Wally real, wait I put him too high /j) ok! Did one with my Y/N (and gawd taller than me…)

They love going on adventures and maybe going into reader | y/n bag to see the outside world secretly? But definitely adventures and stuff that they like to do is a yes.

Y/N accidentally had left the window open with only a gap, but not big enough for them to fit through. Frank was going through a book that he had specifically told Y/N to pick it out for him to read and where he sat to read? Right beside the opened window. It was his small little reading area since he could see the flower bloom. While he was focusing on his book, a Butterfly flew in and landed right on his book. And Jesus, the butterfly looked abit too big but it was very close to him plus! It was one that he had never seen before so..what he do, he did it, he inspected the butterfly and tried not to scare it away at the same time. He definitely would love studying this world bugs.

Wally, the appol addict…Y/N was supposed to eat the apple but she forgot to do something and instead left it on the table, Wally noticed the apple would be smaller than him but now..gawd, the damn fruit was bigger than him.. He wonder if he can eat this whole fruit in one day? Well…Let’s just say- it didn’t what he expected. Y/N came back to see only Wally on the table laying backside, The apple gone and his eyes grown larger than before. Y/N thought he was dead but actually he’s in heaven and literally Inlove with the appol in this world, because lucky for him the apple Y/N picked out was sweet.

It was early in the morning two puppets was literally up for whatever reason, Poppy was reading the recipe book that she found and asked Y/N to take it out, Howdy was looking outside the closed window admiring the nature! Both of them heard some shuffling in the kitchen before they went to check it out. (Y/N made them lil stairs for them to get on things) and when they found what the noise were, It was Y/N cooking themselves a small meal and haven’t noticed the two until they were on the counter. Howdy and Poppy asked if they could help and of course, Y/N allows only one condition. Telling them to stay away from the fire at a safe distance. And holy cow when they were done,, I swear both puppets were really proud of themselves helping Y/N out.

When Y/N once brought home colourful papers Eddie immediately ran up to them to ask about the paper and where they got it from, u reply u brought it for something which u immediately remember something that u forgot to buy so u told the mailman puppet to watch over the papers. But the moment u close the door, Eddie went to take out one of the papers (with lots of struggle-) and started to play with them and when u do have the item and came back with it..Eddie was folding lots of it and was having fun.

The hanyou in question was simply enjoying some onigiri he'd been given by Kagome's mom. Of course he'd heard the blond coming, but he thought that he would walk on by him as people usually did. However, when he stopped beside him, Inuyasha was going to give him a glance at least. Only, it was then that he felt the fingers on his ear and stiffened up.

"H-Hey..!" he started to protest, but then the pinching turned into scratching and his whole body relaxed again. The onigiri he was just enjoying was forgotten as the hand holding it went slack and hung at his side.

However the rice ball splatting to the ground was what brought him back to his senses right when he was about to lean his head into that hand. He quickly moved his head away, an embarrassed flush on his cheeks.

"D-Do you mind? Why're you touchin' my ears? Who even are you?"

I'm sorry I can't watch the new trigun and I never will. it looks so ugly. the vibe is no where near the same and it takes away 90% of the charm of the original and makes it into something totally different.
